His portfolio includes ESPN broadcasts, global events like the US Open and Formula E, and acclaimed productions including Survivor South Africa, Netflix, and Showmax projects.

Poppy “Pops” Madela is a South African storyteller drawn to observing human behaviour. She has worked as a researcher and content director for SABC, Mzansi Magic, Mzansi Wethu, Showmax, and Netflix. Across reality and documentary formats—including Big Brother, Young Famous & African, MasterChef, and Married at First Sight—she continues creating boldly, just getting started.
